Whether you’re on a long journey or travelling not so far, having your screen wash topped up at all times is crucial for road safety. Filling up your screenwash is a quick and simple task that should be done on a regular basis to avoid smears on the windscreen or to wipe away anything obstructing your view for maximum visibility.
Open the car bonnet and by reaching under the dash and pulling the lever. The bonnet will pop open, but you will need to feel for the release catch and slide it to the left. Lift the bonnet fully and prop it up safely.
Locate the screen wash bottle which will have the screen wash logo located on the lid. Take off the cap and pour in screenwash to the maximum line, or as close as you can get to the maximum line, before securing the cap.
