COVID Restrictions extended in Northern Ireland
The NI Executive has decided to extend the current Covid-19 restrictions introduced on 26 December 2020, until 5 March 2021 – subject to review on 18 February 2021.
If you have a test booked between 8th February and 6th March it will not automatically be cancelled and refunded. Instead, you have the option to reschedule your test date.
If your practical driving test is not rescheduled by the week preceding your scheduled test date it will then be cancelled and the test fee will be refunded automatically.
The online booking system also remains available for those customers who have previously had a test cancelled.
More test slots will be made available in the coming months but please note that, depending on demand, it may take a while before you can have your test appointment. You may also need to look at availability across the full network of test centres, as slots may not be available at the test centre of your choice.
